Everyday we breathe, but we don't breathe fresh air.Because of pollution, and also deforestation a vital role for lack of fresh air.Inside our house do we breathe fresh air? NO.

We know that bad odors kill the people, causes headache etc., so many of us will be getting room fresheners, air freshener etc., Think ! is that Eco - friendly?No.

If something is Eco -friendly, long life, gives good fragrance etc. don't we get that? Yes, we do get it.

Spider plant is also called as airplane plant. It grows about 60 centimeters (24 in) high.It is a flowering plant,which adds beauty to your place. They occur initially as clusters.This Plant can be grown easily.It is a hanging style house plant.Mature plant produces white color flower.They are found in S. Africa region.
                                                                                                           

Techniques to grow spider plant

1. Don't pour too much of water
2. Never let it to fall below 53' F

3. Don't freeze it

How to multiply its growth ?


Benefits:

  • It absorbs more Carbon monoxide
  • Carbon monoxide are more harmful to human beings.
  • It cannot be detected easily because they are colorless odorless
  • They bind the oxygen in human beings and that leads to suffocation
  • People will get headache,vomiting, etc because of this.
  • But this spider plant absorbs carbon monoxide which is the greater advantage

It is a flowering and a slow growing shrub.Stems may reach about 65-85 cm tall.It can be kept in pot.It is very easy to grow and can be maintained easily.


How to maintain?
You can keep the plant outside during summer and inside during winter  and it is not mandatory to keep the plant outside during summer.Water the plant when you find the top layer of the soil is dry.
Use the common fertilizer used for other household plants.


-> It is flowering plant with long brown-yellow striped leaves

-> If the plant started flowering, then you'll get the fragrance from the flower

-> It fills the indoor with fragrance
-> Temperature : below 40' F
-> Don't over-water to avoid dark edges on the leaf

Peace lily

Its native is America and some parts of southern Asia.It is the most popular among household air cleaning plant.It doesn't require more water or sunlight.Water it at-least once in a weak.Avoid using chlorine water.It grows about 20 - 24 inch.

How to maintain it?
  • Pour little amount of water
  • If the plant is dried without being watered no problem, don't throw it away, sprinkle or pour some water,you'll be surprised to see the plant
  • If the roots are grown, then change the pot or the basket

Toxic to animals


  • It is more toxic to dogs and cats
  • It causes itching in their mouth when they eat it
  • Sometimes, animal may die within a day, if it eats the plant leaf
